Non-Linear

I’ve spent most of my life firmly believing in linear progression.

While the milestones of linear progression may be identifiable in my life, the journey has been anything but linear. Sometimes I went backwards, sideways, in a circle, or even stalled. I’ve learned that’s ok. More than ok, there really isn’t another way. 

These days I’m grateful for that knowledge, and for the ability to rest in the cyclical nature of my being.
