Community

A vital part of the success of this project has been the support of my community. Family, colleagues, friends, random strangers on the internet, have all expressed support, excitement, and encouragement as I worked. When I faltered, their belief kept me going. Truly, I cannot do all the things by myself.

In this painting, I’m represented by the variegated purple disc, on a hopeful green field. The layers of bright pinks, yellows, oranges, and blue indicates the overlapping support from my community that buoyed me throughout the project.
